What to bring

  • Cushion and blanket for meditation (we have some available, but it is recommended that everyone uses their own)
  • Single sheet set, bath towel and toiletries
  • Slippers or shoes that are easy to take off and put on when entering reception, rooms and lounges
  • In winter it is very cold, mountain climate, bring warm clothes, thick socks and especially wool cap; in summer it is very hot, bring lighter clothes. However, regardless of the season, it is recommended to bring different clothes for possible changes in temperature.
  • Bottle of water or squeeze
  • Flashlight
  • Umbrella or raincoat (it usually rains a lot in summer, but sometimes in winter we have unexpected periods of rain)
  • Do not forget anything you need during this period, including any medication for continuous use, as we are far from the city and we are not available to go out to buy.

What not to bring

  • Clothes that make noise, plastic or synthetic outerwear (more details in our clothing topic)
  • Perfumes or products with a strong fragrance (such as deodorants or moisturizers)
  • No type of food (food is suitable for practices and will be offered for your best use)
  • Cigarette (smoking is prohibited in the Ashram) or any drug/stimulant that causes changes in brain activities
  • Hairdryer, we suggest you wash your hair after lunch as it is the hottest time and you will have enough time to dry naturally.
  • Books, magazines, notebooks for notes, or any other material that you can use for distraction.
  • Pillows, duvets and blankets, the Ashram has to make available for everyone.
