Kriya Pranayama the Begining

"A Seeker of Truth is the biggest and more brightest blessing to the world. The biggest Saints, Sages, Rishis the world as ever seen were first Seekers of Truth that trough their efforts and subsequent compassion brought down the timeless teachings so that others can follow. May you receive their blessings and have the Spirit to honor Them." Narayana

The basis of any serious spiritual practice is Karma (right action), Jnana (right and clear Motivations) and Bhakti (right attitude). This technique, Kriya Pranayama is a very effective meditation technique for those who seek Liberation, and comprises of karma, right action. For coming to this retreat, the attitude should be of dispassion towards the world, with the intent of Liberation only and not to improve the dream... not trying to reach states but seeking dissolution and that comprises Jnana (right and clear motivation). The attitude towards your retreat and your overall spiritual practice must be of Reverence and Devotion, and that comprises Backti (right attitude). This last aspect is more difficult to achieve, because without purification of mind and senses, Real Bhakti is not possible. We will focus on Karma and Jnana primarily on this first Kriya to prepare, to purify so that Devotion may eventually blossom in your heart and may be worked in the second Kriya.

Kriya Pranayamas are a set of very effective meditation techniques for those who seek Liberation. In this Silent Meditation Retreat we will focus in one simple yet profound Kriya. During your Silent Meditation Retreat you will learn this Kriya in stages, so that you can get awareness and mastery of all details and stages of the technique. Contrary to other meditation techniques, this Kriya can and should be practiced intensely and it will build up energy in a gradual and steady pace.

This kriya is performed by mentally moving the life force up and down the spine through the spinal centers. As the energy moves from the lower through the higher centers it gets purified. The more Kriyas are performed, and you learn to stay more and more into the state that follows the practice of the Kriya, more energy builds up and purges all mental, emotional, physical impurities, attention gets absorbed in the Kriya, nothing else matters but the kriya, the metabolic rate slows down, and as the body gets purified breathlessness follows... no breath, no thoughts, no character, pure stillness, dissolution.

To maintain it's purity, these Silent Meditation Retreats are donation based. First you take part in the Silent Meditation Retreat, then you can donate whatever you feel suitable.
